Alia Bhatt had surprised all her fans when she announced the news of her pregnancy two months post her wedding to Ranbir Kapoor. For the unversed, it was on June 27, 2022, when Ali Bhatt had taken to her IG handle and announced the news of her pregnancy. She posted two pictures, where the first picture featured Alia and Ranbir in the hospital, having her sonography done, and looking at the monitor, beaming with happiness. As per a report of IWM Buzz, it is reported that the soon-to-be parents, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting twins. The report also stated that a renowned astrologer has predicted that the couple would have twin boys.
As soon as Alia had announced her pregnancy with Ranbir, many stories started around the couple. A publication also speculated that Ranbir Kapoor might fly to the UK in order to bring his pregnant wife, Alia, back to Mumbai. Further, in the publication’s post, it was mentioned that Alia would soon take a gap from her professional commitments once she’s back in the city.

“I think they’ve run out of new things to write about me. So when I got married, I was newly-wed Alia. Now, I’m pregnant Alia, pregnancy glow Alia, or mom-to-be Alia, baby bump hiding Alia and, baby bump flaunting Alia. Well, I don’t even want to give it attention.”
For the longest time, Alia Bhatt is in the news for her dressing sense and reports about her flaunting or hiding her baby bump have become the talk of the town. In the same interview, the actress said that choosing the right kind of clothes is a personal choice. Alia also lashed out at the people who use such words to describe an expecting actress and asked them to stop it. She concluded:
“It’s such a personal choice like any clothes are clothes. Like I don’t get it. What do you mean by flaunting? It’s a deep appeal. Please stop.”
