All you need – Ripe banana, cucumber and papaya.

This revitalizing mask combines the goodness of cucumber and papaya with our good ol’ bananas to nurture oily skin. Papaya helps reduce pigmentation; cucumber hydrates and soothes inflammation caused by excessive sebum production and banana softens and feeds anti-oxidants to dull and dehydrated skin.

How to make the pack –

  1. Blend 1/4th papaya, 1/4th peeled cucumber and half a peeled banana together in a blender to form a smooth paste.
  2. Apply this all over your face, neck and decolletage and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Rinse with lukewarm water.

How to make the pack –

  1. Mash half a ripe banana with its peel and add 1 tsp of smooth neem paste (take a handful of neem leaves and churn it in the blender to form the paste) and ½ tsp of turmeric (the superfood). Mix all the ingredients well to form an even paste.

All you need – Banana and Honey

As we’ve discovered that bananas are a rich source of potassium and vitamin A which work together to moisturize and hydrate dry, dull-looking skin. They also contain Vitamin E which protects your skin from free radicals and moisturize to even out skin tone. Adding just a few drops of honey to bananas helps retain that moisture that’s lost due to external environmental factors such as weather, pollution, etc.

How to make the pack –

  1. Mash half a banana with a fork and add 1 tablespoon of honey to this mix.
  2. Mix it well and then apply this mixture to your face and neck.
  3. Disclaimer: The purer the honey, the better.

How to make the pack –

  1. Mix half a ripe banana with 1 tbsp of besan and 2-3 drops of lemon. Note: Do not use excessive lemon juice as it may irritate or dry your skin further.
  2. Make a consistent paste, add a few drops of water if you feel that the paste is too dry.
  3. Apply this smooth paste onto your face and neck.
  4. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
