If you’ve always wanted to be a flight attendant AND are a UFO enthusiast then your dream job may have just become available. Because the U.S. government has a secret airline that it uses to transport government workers to military bases INCLUDING the mysterious Area 51 and they are hiring.

The highly classified, large fleet of passenger aircrafts located in Las Vegas’s McCarran International Airport are operated by private defense contractor AECOM and has the call sign Janet which is said to stand for “Just Another Non-Existent Terminal”.

The planes, which don’t carry any company logos are plain white with a red band down the side and due to the airline’s secretive nature, little is known about its organization. Janet flights operate with a three-digit flight number and a WWW-prefix. In the official publication of ICAO airline codes, this specific three-letter designator is listed as being blocked and anyone who boards one is sworn to secrecy about where they’re going.

However, despite the clandestine nature of the airline, it apparently still needs flight attendants. According to the vacancy ad which appeared on the website of AECOM, candidates must be able to perform regular flight attendant duties such as passenger safety briefings, emergency procedures and light cleaning.  All applicants must also qualify for ‘a top-secret government security clearance’.

The posting says applicants “must be level-headed and clear thinking while handling unusual incidents and situations (severe weather conditions, including turbulence, delays due to weather or mechanicals, hijackings or bomb threats).”
